Guest guest
Hi Everyone, As my 3-6 month " honeymoon period " following amalgam removal comes to an end, I am slowly starting to see some symptoms again (brain fog, urticaria, fatigue, increased urination, sleep disturbance, etc.). Does anyone have any experience with methyl B-12 (particularly oral methyl B-12), or know whether the Cutler protocol has anything to say about this? In reading Kirby's Evidence of Harm I noticed it was being used in the treatment of some autistic children. Some of the researchers believed it was much more helpful than regular B-12, which I am taking. Would appreciate advice... Thanks, Dave
Guest guest
Dave, I know supplements aren't particularly effective at providing B-12. I've used the liquid dropper form that you hold under your tongue 30 seconds & slow-dissolving tablets from time to time to try to supplement B-12, but never felt a noticable difference. Intravenous therapy is supposed to be effective but seemed too extreme for me. We get B-12 in our diet by eating meats, especially beef, which makes getting enough B-12 more problematic for vegetarians. Your best bet may be to eat a little free-range, organic red meat on a regular basis. I found I definitely do better with it once my digestion had sufficiently improved. High mercury levels eventually suppressed my appetite, and I have a tendency toward a vegetarian diet, so it was a bit of an effort to turn to meats as a protein source, but the health benefits have been noteworthy and I now crave red meat every other day. Hang in there. Maybe you're ready to increase your DMSA dosage? Guest guest
TK--- regular B12 gets converted to methyl B12 - depending on the person this process may be in good shape or not. some people do better with the methyl form as their body does not have to convert it. some people like me do much better with injectable and get no results at all with oral dosages > > Hi Everyone, > > As my 3-6 month " honeymoon period " following amalgam > removal comes to an end, I am slowly starting to see > some symptoms again (brain fog, urticaria, fatigue, > increased urination, sleep disturbance, etc.). > > Does anyone have any experience with methyl B-12 > (particularly oral methyl B-12), or know whether the > Cutler protocol has anything to say about this?
