Guest guest
Feeling wired is a more common symptom of too much T3, but yes, I feel that too much T3 makes some people feel tired. Also, feeling tired can be caused by low cortisol - have you tried dividing your doses up into 5 times a day? Sometimes larger doses of T3 can use up all the cortisol available at the moment, and smaller, more frequent doses are better tolerated. > > Can too much T3 cause fatigue or would the symptom just be feeling wired? > I've increase t3 over a week ago, and lately i've been feeling very sleepy > in the day, very tired and heart pounds hard (not fast, just hard) I also > get very hungry. > I'm taking 20mg HC a day (5,5,5,2.5, 2.5) and 70mcg of T3 (25, 25, 20). Guest guest
Yes, five t3 doses a day. Moderator Nick doses his like this: " My dosing times are: 7am 10am 1pm 4pm Bed time as I put the light out. " from his excellent website: http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm I space my own out as evenly as practical. My 25 mg T3 pills will break reasonably evenly into quarters, and I'm on 81.25mg/day, so my own five doses are: 18.75 (three-quarters of a pill) 18.75 12.5 (half a pill) 18.75 12.5 This is as easy on my adrenals as I know how to make it! Hope this helps. > > > > > > Can too much T3 cause fatigue or would the symptom just be feeling wired? > > > I've increase t3 over a week ago, and lately i've been feeling very > > sleepy > > > in the day, very tired and heart pounds hard (not fast, just hard) I also > > > get very hungry. > > > I'm taking 20mg HC a day (5,5,5,2.5, 2.5) and 70mcg of T3 (25, 25, 20). > > My > > > thermometer broke so I don't know recent temps, but got a new one and > > > started again today. > > > Elyse > > > > > > > > > >

Too much T3 can cause low adrenal symptoms or hyper thyroid symptoms It will not cause resistance to build up. It will clear resistance caused by RT3 If you have resistance from other causes it will not clear it but is the best way of treating it as it will not cause any other problems.
