Insomnia again

Help! I should be asleep right now, but I'm not!!! And I wasn't last

night either, or the night before. No protein before bed this time, I

exercised during the day and am pooped, so why can't I get to

sleep???!!!! Could it be a die off/ imbalance-ish symptom? Or am I

just messed up in general?

you can't sleep because you're on here :) I'm not sleeping for the same reason, there's too much to learn about SCD!! You can try reading a book to clear your mind while you lay in bed, or draw, or write....-UC - 1 yearSCD - 1 month 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 4 pills 3 times a day - hopefully scd will help me get off these!10mg prednisone (tapering down to 0 because it's doing nothing)Hydrocortisone when I need it.

Are you on any meds? I recently had to go back on high doses of prednisone and

one of the annoying side effects is insomnia. I've been using a

chamomile/peppermint tea before bed in order to help my body relax a little

more. Yes, being online will definitely keep you up. Though if you're laying

in bed, in the dark for 10-20 minutes I've heard that you should get up and do

something for half an hour or so before trying to go back to bed. I hope you

get to sleep soon! I think I should head that way myself though I fear I'll

have the same problem :).

Hey Alyssa,

I have found that when I'm on the computer too late I can't get to sleep. I

think the light from the screen stimulates your brain or something b/c I just

lay there and my brain won't shut off!!

Cook pear with blueberries and cinnamon and eat that before bed, best sleep ever
