I am so excited to announce the new Autistic Program at Treasure Coast Christian Academy! I have been asked to direct this new program and really look forward to serving the children, families & community of St. Lucie County. Please share the announcement below.Regards, ****************************************************** Treasure Coast Christian Academy (TCCA) understands the immediate need for educational options for autistic children on the Treasure Coast. We currently serve high functioning autistic children and will be expanding to serve many levels of the spectrum. Our new program will be for the 2012-2013 school year. Our goal

is to create a model program and set a long overdue standard in educational environments for autistic children. Our new program will offer strong therapeutic interventions that are tailored specifically for kids with special needs including speech, occupational and physical therapy as well as academics. The classroom itself will be a sensory-friendly, comfortable, and safe environment with more individualized teaching, and significant flexibility in terms of curriculum. TCCA does not require standardized testing. We are ACCREDITED through ACI - Accrediting Commission International, Inc. and FCCPSA - Florida Coalition of Christian Private Schools Association.
