Guest guest
Hey all, I am still in my 3 month flare and getting desperate. I'm back to the intro diet - just eggs and chicken soup, but not much progress. Suprisingly, (at least to me) I had to temporarily ( I hope) give up my beloved yogurt/banana smoothies - they were causing lots of discomfort all of the sudden. Anyway, I am going on vacation in a week and 1/2 and so don't want to be sick. My dr gave me some prednisone if I want to take it, but I'm torn. If this flare is some kind of detox, will the prednisone impede the healing? I hate taking it anyway, since I get all the bad side effects, but I've got to get better too. Any advice/experience? thanks, heather UC 12y, SCD 4m
Guest guest
When you feel ready for yogurt again, you might try dripping it.I add dripped yogurt to my smoothies. It works just fine and is a lot easier for me to digest.-- Hey all, I am still in my 3 month flare and getting desperate.
