Guest guest
Hi, I started over at STTM and then followed this great group and the Adrenal group and switched to ALL T3 in 2007. I am wondering if Val, still advises this? I supplement between 100-125mgs.Cynomel daily and am down to 5-10mgs. HC AND working out 3-5 times a week now, and I'm 58:-). I was just wondering about the complete absence of T4 and if it's recommended to take a little of that or not? My liver( hepititis C) was NOT converting Armour at all for me when i switched for Synthroid initially. I was TIRED on it, so when " the T3 experiment started " i joined in and have stayed with that treatment plan. I feel pretty GOOD! I have EXCELLENT bone density, btw, as i read T4 does something for the bones? That is not an issue for me. I am on some other medications for migraines and depression due to a series of life events, and I always check to make sure my medications are not incompatible, plus I have a good doctor and pharmacist. I take many vitamins and take good care of myself in spite of my depression. All the best to everyone!! Hang in there with your treatment. I was a MESS when i started, and am 100 better off then when i started thanks to Val primarily, T3, and HC and these groups! a
Guest guest
Yes a after a ton of research I see no reason we can't stay on T3 onyl for life. My biggest condern was lack of calcitonin in the T3 meds but ocme to find out calcitonin is made in other parts of the bosdy than just the thyroid so we are good. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/

Glad to hear you are doing well, it's 12 months now since I started on T3 and I am feeling better than I have done for about 40 years. We've put together a web site now summarizing the T3 protocol that Val found works well for people. www.thyroid-rt3.com Nick
Guest guest
No, my depression is due to a series of recent life events. Losses of very close family members, my signifigant other and a job loss, but I'm making a " come back " :-) It just takes time...... Life is basically good. I'm just grieving, really. That's so good to hear. Did u ever have more issues with depression as u raised your T3?
