Guest guest
Hello, My name is Carol. I have three daughters with lyme disease. One severely, two mainly anxiety issues. I have taken them to a well respected ND who uses ART testing and concluded they all have heavy metals as well. I am concerned about mercury since I worked for my dad who was a dentist for many years while growing up and during college years. This was before they used masks etc.. I shudder when I think of all the amalgams I mixed...all the mercury I vacumed up with the aspirator that happened to escape the mercury dispenser. ( before they came premade in a capsule) I ordered the books written by Cutler. I am trying to get through them..it's slow going. I am so confused because he says not to use chlorella and some other things that the ND has me giving them. Is the Cutler protocol the one everyone on this forum is using? Is it difficult? Is it risky? How many people have positive results? I don't have any children with obvious autism. I am starting to think that my 19 year old has some of the tendencies although for the most part she is fine. I would love to learn more about this and to be able to free my girls of possible mercury toxicity. I have read that lyme and mercury poisoning tend to go together more often then one would suspect. I would appreciate andy help I could get. This group is extremely active! Thanks Carol W. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Never miss an email again! Yahoo! They are misinformed. The treatment of mercury poisoning is not well understood because mainstream medicine pretends it doesn't happen and shoves it underground (because it is doctors and dentists and pharmaceutical companys doing most of the poisoning). If you post a list of things that you are taking or giving your girls we can tell you what needs to be avoided and why. > Is the Cutler protocol the one everyone on this forum > is using? Yes. > Is it difficult? No >Is it risky? There are risks associated with the mercury being in the body and moving it out. Andy's protocol minimizes those risks. >How many people have > positive results? > Just about everyone has some sort of positive results if they follow the protocol correctly. > I don't have any children with obvious autism. This group > is extremely active! > The first thing to do is to get a hair test (**Hair Elements**) from Doctor's Data Inc for yourself and for your girls. They can be obtained from some health care professionals or through www.directlabs.com The hair elements tests is inexpensive and gives good information. We can help you with test interpretation. The second thing to do is to find a reputable mercury free dentist to remove amalgams. www.IOAMT.org It is not safe to chelate with any amalgams in place. The third thing to do is to study Andy's recommended supplements and develope a supplementation program. Guest guest
Carol, I also had a hard time accepting the idea that food sources & supplements like chlorella can actually be harmful. It seems most of the information we received was developed through dentistry, and that isn't the discipline that has to deal with lingering health problems as a result of long-term, chronic toxicity. My amalgams came out two years ago and I just switched to this protocol because I got worse again after the early months following amalgam removal and had seen virtually no improvement since. I started DMSA with the frequent dosing method & supplement recommendations this past month and already find I have more energy and am more alert. That was certainly unexpected. In the two months prior, I was attempting chelation the usual way (trying it one last time!), and felt awful. Joanne --------------------------------- Expecting? Guest guest
>Anyway, don't want to overwhelm you with more questions. I just need >to get moving on this. I am waiting for my ND to have Doctors Data >send me the kit..I am not having much luck it seems. Is there any >other way to get this test done. I won't quit until I succeed! LOL If it becomes a problem, you can order it yourself thru www.directlabs.com. They order the test from DDI for you & have it mailed directly to you. It costs $93 to order it yourself thru them. If you can get it thru your ND, the test is $47, if he/she doesn't add their own markup to it. Mine didn't. It took 3 weeks for me to get the test once I requested it thru her office. If your doctor hasn't ordered tests from DDI before, I think there is some sort of approval process. I had good success emailing DDI to get a progress report on the request. I gave them my name/add, my doctor's name/add & told them when I asked my doctor to request it. They told me when they mailed the kit to my doctor (they didn't mail it to me directly). I then knew how long to reasonably wait before checking with my doctor's office if the kit had come in. When I did the kit request thru Direct Labs, it took me a while to get it. I waited a month. No kit. I emailed them. Their records said they sent one in December. I waited a month...no kit. I emailed them again. Their records said they had re-sent it in January...no kit. Finally, they overnighted one to me via DHL. That worked . It may well have been a USPS problem, not a Direct Lab problem. No way to know. But in either case, both DDI & Direct Labs were very helpful via email. DDI especially so. I had answers within hours. Direct Labs sometimes took a couple of days to get back to me. But they did get back & follow- up eventually.
