Guest guest
The new book, Always Leave Them Laughing, is now available in ebook format and can be read on any electronic device, Kindle, Nook, iPad, etc. This book, though fiction, has a heavy autism theme. One reader wrote, " Always Leave Them Laughing. A poignant story about a family and an " all too common " scenario that must be told and read by anyone who cares about the future of the adult autism epidemic we are facing. " Signed: Children's Activist and Philanthropist You can read a sample for free: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/181423
Guest guest
Thanks, Robin. I wrote this book in an attempt to raise awareness about what we, as parents of children with developmental disabilities, are going to do once we are too old or are no longer around to care for our child. And what our society as a whole is going to do in terms of taking care of 1 out of 88 individuals who will need some type of sustaining support once their parents are no longer their caregivers. This book took me two years to write. When I started it, the words flowed like water from my head. But then I came to a point in the story, where it hit so close to home, that I stopped writing. Eventually, I become motivated again to finish it. I hope everyone reads it. I didn't write it to become rich. I make like a dollar a book. But I just want to start a buzz so we as parents feel comfortable to talk about a subject that is obviously painful to discuss. > > Congratulations . I look forward to reading your first book. > > Robin > > > > In a message dated 7/12/2012 3:36:14 P.M.
