They probably are full, but try The Posnack JCC on Stirling and Pine Island (don't have to be Jewish). The special needs side is called Giborim, it has everything a typical summer camp would (swimming, fieldtrips, sports, art & crafts, etc), but, in a safe, supervised setting with people who work with special needs kids. It is wonderful, but very expensive!

JCC in Davie/ City is great but they fill up fast (usually by January) Give them a call.

I agree.

Also keep in mind there's not really academics involved, however, the kids are SUPER busy with tons of fun actvities all day long. Many campers return year after year, and many of the staff return year after year, that gives you an idea how well the program is runned.
