Hello,I have been on the SCD for four years and have still been bloated all that time. I'm trying to figure out why. I recently removed frozen packaged winter squash from my diet, and good lord did that help my head clear!! I also stopped eating peanut butter per the advice of my doctor. But I am still bloated. I am now suspicious of my supplements, I take many, but have been very very careful that they do not have illegal ingredients. I am now considering my multivitamin, I take Ultra Preventive X at the recommendation of my doctor. On inspection, however, it contains spirulina and chlorella, 100 mcg. each. It also sources its iodine and selenium from kelp, also illegal as far as I know. it also has 100 mg of inositol and 100 mcg of " sea vegetation " . So, I started poking around for a better one at a health food store, and couldn't find one. So I checked the web for SCD recommendations, and found only the FREEDA multivitamin recommended. However, it takes selenium from kelp, and has a base including inositol. What should I do?

Thank you very much!

Hey ,

I have adrenal problems, so I need a lot of supplements to mitigate that. I take a lot separately though, maybe I don't need a multivitamin too. I'm not sure

Thanks!

Hi Is there a reason why you have to take multivitamins? I stopped taking those a long time ago. I just take my vitamins individually, after researching on the internet, so that my body gets what it needs. I take calcium/magnesium, vit. D, borage and primrose oil and silica. Also, if you can find celtic sea salt, it contains traces of 84 minerals, including iodine.

Cheers, So, I started poking around for a better one at a health food> store, and couldn't find one. So I checked the web for SCD recommendations,> and found only the FREEDA multivitamin recommended. However, it takes
