Guest guest
, did you know that coconut oil makes fabulous cookies? I'll post my recipe if anyone is interested. It uses no baking powder or sugar (sweetened with agave), is made mostly with ground almonds and rice flour or whole wheat flour. it is very flexible and you can substitute whatever you can eat in the ingredients. I also add Maca root. My thyroid condition always improves when i have these cookies on hand... Also, about B12. I tested high in B12, and my doctor has me taking it anyway (hydroxycobalamin). He says the high test result is meaningless when your methylation pathways are comprimised, which is usually the case with mercury problems. The folate/B12 combo he has me on is the best antidepressant I've ever had. Subtle, but very effective (i can tell when i forget to take it). This has proved a life-saver, because I get some dark mental symptoms as a main effect of ALA chelation, always toward the end of a round, and for a day or two off-round. best wishes, NJ > > Grand news! Feeling better. Woke this morning with much less > paresthesias (still some off and on in hands, face), no anxiety, > and the good ALA feeling. Can tell when I have the latter because > I smile at myself in the mirror and dance around the house. Never > lasts, so must savor. Even visited the real world this morning. > Now tiring and dizzy again (just a little). > > Baaad Gut. Time to test gut pathogens. Stool tests never show > anything much. Never had an OAT. It's about time for that. > > They really ought to make coconut oil in flavors. Different colors > and textures would be nice, too. Do I have to do everything myself? > Sigh - I know the answer is yes. > > -- >
