Guest guest
> > Dear Andy, > > I was wondering if you could please help me out. I have 3 more amalgam fillings in my mouth and I am scheduled to have them removed on August. 2nd. Is there anything I can do to prepare my body before, during and after the removal of these fillings? Is there any specific procedure I should request from my dentist during the removal of these fillings. > > Thanks, > > Susie Take vitamin C, magnesium and zinc several times a day, A and E daily starting at least a week beforehand (a bit late to tell you, I know) and eat a lot of fibery food for the several days afterwards. Oatmeal, lots of fruit, squash, etc. The dentist should give you independent breathing air or oxygen through a nosepiece, and use a dam or something like the " clean up " system instead that sucks up everything as he drills.
