Guest guest
Hi Dean, Inositol hexanicotinate is fine, per me and Andy I believe also has no problem with it. Andy does not like straight niacin as it is hard on the liver and prefers either niacinamide or inositol hexanicotinate. I don't think there is a problem with low dose niacin, we have used a multi with as little as 10 mgs a day and I think it's helpful in opening up the arteries, but you might want to check http://www.onibasu.com and type in niacin and andrewhallcutler to see what Andy has to say about it. Also, magnesium and phosphatidylcholine are very helpful for high cholesterol levels. inositol hexanicotinate. Hi A,, Does anyone know if Andy has any problems with inositol hexanicotinate for mercury toxic people. It is a form of niacin. I know he does not recommend niacin, however this form may be tolerated. The product in question is Lipotain http://www.metagenics.com/products/detail.asp?pid=62 and the intent is for someone with high cholesterol. Do you know why he does not like niacin? Thanks, Dean
