The State of Texas State Operations Center (SOC) received an updated report on

the large fire located at the El Dorado Chemical Plant. The fire continues to

burn. Assets are being released. FD, College Station FD and Precinct 4 VFD

will remain at the incident command post over night. The Brazos County Combined

Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will remain activated throughout the evening.

Texas Department of Public Safety is assisting with road blocks. Approximately

50 individuals remain in the shelter at this time.

The Environmental Protection Agency has scheduled another detection flight over

the fire at 0600hrs. (RLO 6C)
