Hey MSer's

know the phrase "the squeaky wheel gets Oiled?"

I was feeling so overwhelmed with Insurance crap. My Aetna Medicare told me I'm not able to get the extra help for my Part D med's. I told them I've been eligible since 2005 when I started with medicare. And nothing has changed since.

I called Social Security this afternoon about it. I'm still eligible and with a higher percentage than in the past. She told me I should get 25% of the cost of my drugs. Last year it was 15%

I also called and asked about the status of the "Chronic Disease Fund" who were so helpful with co-pays on my Avonex. That went thru as well.

I'm believing unless you challenge them and ask questions things don't get done. My question is why do we have too. They know the facts but assumed I wouldn't challenge it.

Remember the "Squeaky wheel and the oil phrase? I'm so proud of myself kinda reminds Me of "The Old Terri"

Next I've got to concentrate on getting my walking better so I don't embarrass my daughter on May 7 when she graduates with her BA-Marketing.

I've bought a recumbent bike to use here in my room. Tried the Treadmill and I can walk very slow or I fall on my ASS..
