Guest guest
test name=result unit (reference interval) IRON & TIBC Iron (TIBC)=285 ug/dl (250-450) UIBC=229 ug/dl( 150-375) Iron, Serum=56 ug/dl (35-155) Iron Saturation=20 %( 15-55) FERRITIN, SERUM=34 ng/mL(13-150) THYROID PEROXIDASE(TPO)Ab=12 IU/mL(0-34) ANTITHYROGLOBULIN Ab=<20 IU/mL(0-40) 3 questions: 1.So I know that Ferritin is low, want to confirm that optimally the result needs to about 90-150..right? 2.The lab does not show Hashimotos (because my results are not above range). But I don't understand what <20 means? just less than 20? why wouldn't they put the exact result. 3. How safe is it to assume I don't have Hashi's? Thanks Lila
