Guest guest Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 Jon I would make sure the biopsy is reviewed by another pathologist just to have two opinions. The hospital I had mine in automatically sends them to Mayo in sdale for the second opinion. I know that your experience was not good at all, but I do believe you'll look back and be glad you had the VATS. You got the thing it's performed for and that is a diagnosis of the form of ILD. Now the doctors can assist you in intelligently treating it and knowing what they are dealing with . Prednisone can often get sarcoidosis under control which in turn can stop or slow down the progression.
