Guest guest
One wrench in the plans is the kids dietary restrictions. They aren't allowed to have any pork. So no lard for cooking, no bacon for seasoning... SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. But the 14 year old thinks she has strep throat. (biggroan from me). I've been making her hot tea and hopefully she will feelbetter.CPS didn't open a case on the kids so there will be no help with costs. Ifwe can get a power of attorney from dad then we can get them to the doc. They have medicaid but we don't have permission (poa) to take them to thedoctor. Their dad called this morning from jail to talk to the kids. He says itlooks like he can be bonded out but he doesn't have the money and wecertainly don't. His bond would be $650. He was arrested because he has abench warrant. He was convicted several years ago of "squatting" onproperty. The truth is he had a verbal agreement with the landowner to buythe land. I know that's true because I was there when he was on the phonewith the landowner talking about it and I could hear part of theconversation. Then for some reason the landowner decided not to sell thethe "dad" and had the cops come to evict him and then said he wassquatting. The judge in this case has a history of judicial misconduct butthe "dad" hasn't had any luck getting anyone to listen to him. His vehiclewas towed yesterday. I found out this morning the cost today of the towingis $315. Each day another $20 is added on. I'm afraid the "dad" is goingto lose his vehicle over this because he won't be able to redeem it. My sonis going to go talk to the guy at the towing place and see if he can get theprice lowered any. Wish my son luck please! My son will be doing most of the cooking. Son looked through the pantryearlier and planned out some inexpensive meals for the next week. I didcook breakfast this morning--just hot cereal and toast. The kids are sad, but the 16 year old is distraught. She feels responsiblefor helping her dad and is trying to find someone who can loan her money toget him out of jail. Sad situation for a 16 year old to be in for sure.hugs to allSharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
It is religious. They are "New Covenant Hebrew". I don't know much about their religion but it looks like I will be learning:) SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Between a rock and a hard place - if CPS opens a case then they'llprobably be sent to an "Official" foster home, and could very well beseparated; on the other hand, no open case = no money... Blessings on your house for taking them in, even though it probably meansmore beans and less meat all around, at least they're together somewherefamiliar.T in WYPractical Blackwork Designshttp://practicalblackwork.comhttp://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com%C2%A0%C2%A0
