The National EMS Academy-Texas, is hosting an EMS Operations and

Planning for Weapons of Mass Destruction class August 21-23, 2009. The

course is designed to equip pre-hospital and hospital personnel with the

skills needed to ensure proper patient triage, treatment and

transportation in the event of exposure to chemical, radiological,

nuclear, and explosive weapons.

The class will begin at 6pm, Friday, August 21st, and meet from 8am-6pm

on Saturday and Sunday, August 22 & 23. The course is free, however

there are only 13 open seats available. YOU MUST REPLY BY NOON THURSDAY

IF INTERESTED. If you are interested in attending the course, please

to complete 2 on line courses, WMD/Terrorism Awareness for Emergency

Responders and EMS Concepts for WMD. These courses may be found at
