Guest guest
It's me, Pam.... Hyper is horrible ! I agree with you ! I am very worried about you. You said over on MediBoard that your IBS is back too. What happened ? This morning, at 10 o'clock MediBoard time, you said you had called and talked to your doctor and you both agreed you were going to start your PTU this morning so you would not go hyper again. ** Why did you change your mind about starting the PTU this morning ? ** I had gone and looked for you before I went to work just to make sure you were OK. Everything looked good, and now this. I am very sorry if anything I have said has upset you. I never meant this to happen. I care very much about you. Is there someone that can drive you to the emergency room like Granny Chris suggested ? That will get their attention and then you doctor will be sure to give you extra help. Do you know it will be OK to take the PTU NOW, and then you can find someone to do the block and replace later? The most important thing is to get you un hyper right now. You did have a horrible doctor for a long time there, and I thought this new one was doing pretty good ? Hey...How about some of that Lemon Balm tea right now. I think you have some and you said it made you feel better. Am I right ? I am on your side Alyssa. -Pam L-
Guest guest
I agree, Alyssa, you would be a great peer support person for teens on SCD. As you know, the teen years are a step between pecanbread ( parents taking care of kids on SCD) and adults on SCD with their own households. I would imagine topics would come up like colleges ( that would have kitchens available ), eating out with friends and so on. You would be a great adviser.
