I would like to mention that I've known Tom Partin since 1975. Tom is

probably one of the best EMS Directors in the history of Texas EMS. He is highly

respected by those of us that know him. He is low profile, quite, but very

effective as a Director. Anyone even thinking about where to start or work in

EMS could not ask for a better EMS service than San Marcos/Hays County EMS. With

the leadership of Tom and his staff you will become one of the best in EMS. Tom

has always supported the advancement of his staff, even if that meant losing

them to other services or careers. He has always promoted and encourage his

staff to further their education in anyway possible. I know he has supported

many a employee while they continued towards their college degree while knowing

he would lose them in the end. There are probably 1,000s of medic that owe San

Marcos/Hays County a debt of gratitude. You cannot say the name San Marcos/Hays

County EMS in anyway without saying or knowing the name Tom Partin. Tom I think

has been there since day one back in the 70s and maybe one of the longest

running EMS Directors in one job in the EMS in the History of Texas. Tell Tom

his old friend Ron Haussecker wanted to say hello and kudos to the job he has

and always will do.
