I suppose it depends on your viewpoint. It's a good thing in one

perspective that the white house is monitoring what goes on as far as

hospital and EMS conditions all the way down to the local level. On the

other hand, shouldn't routine monitoring of local conditions fall to the

local, region, then state, and only then make its way to the federal

level?

I can't ever recall see a message that a request for status come from

" The White House " .

Many states and larger cities have created state and local fusion centers to

share information and intelligence within their jurisdictions as well as with

the federal government. Texas is one of them.

I agree Rick. The items they are asking about are part of the SNS stockpile.

I would bet the warehouses are busy repackaging material in case local

communities make request for help.

I think that the email is an over simplification. The information is

being collected by RAC's for distribution to DSHS and HHS to keep an eye

on the H1N1 situation and to allow for EARLY federal help if necessary.

This is nothing more than epidemiology and surveillance that occurs

routinely by Public Health, this just seems to garner more attention

since it's a " novel " strain. I for one applaud the government (local,

county, state and federal) for trying to be proactive rather than

reactive.

No. It's a conspiracy involving the Bilderberg Group and the World Bank
