Guest guest
My name is Ed Walsh and I have a beautiful 11 year old daughter named Johanna. She is on the spectrum, non-verbal, and my life's greatest teacher! I am involved with the Autism Society of Broward and have been co-hosting a monthly event called " Mr.Ocean's Friends " . We will be meeting this Saturday, Dec. 15th, from 2 to 5pm at Azalea terrace, Hollywood Beach. This is an effort to get our families together for support and fun. There is a playground near the beach at Azalea Terrace for kids that don't like the sand and surf, or just for variety. There is plenty of parking and you can use bills or credit cards. Take Hollywood Blvd. East to A1A and go South (right) about half a mile before taking a left on Azalea Terrace. You will see a sign that says Hollywood Community Center and Library at the turn. Go to the end of the road and park near the bathrooms and playground. Walk across the footbridge and we will be between the bridge and the ocean on the beach. You can also connect with this event on our Facebook Page. http://www.facebook.com/events/377378019015270/ Hope to see some of you there!!
