Guest guest
My recipe for playdough:3 cups flour1/2 cup salt 3 cups water2 tablespoons vegetable oil1 tablespoon cream of tartarMix all in a saucepan. Cook and stir over low/medium heat until playdough is completely formed (holds together in a lump) and is no longer sticky. Allow to cool slightly before storing in a zip lock bag. If you want color in it add food color when first mixing. My grandkids are hypersensitive to food dyes (allergic) so we leave it uncolored. SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I work with toddlers in a little Bible class, and it's in my church, where stuff (like store-boughten) playdough just disappears!I am so sorry about your back. Time for a massage, chiropractor or acupuncturist, or all 3!Weather is just NUTS! Enjoy the warmth when you can. Let us know about Monday's weather.Since hockey is basically over (had a 6:20am game today, though), I've been able to get to church on Sundays; this was my 3rd week in a row! yay! I'm ok, MS-wise, just off balance. My brother-in-law, Mike (married to my sister, Pat, who you all were praying for, who is awaiting results of an ultrasound, sorry for the run-on sentence!lol) was admitted to the hospital after having trouble breathing 2am Friday morning. The bottom line--he has heart disease, and they will need to either put a stent in, or do bypass surgery. He gets transferred to the next hospital on Monday for one or the other procedure. Just please keep him in mind. Thanks!love to all,KateTo: Group <mserslife >Sent: Sat, April 2, 2011 5:38:41 PMSubject: update--Sharon I am pretty much well from the head cold I had. What a relief:) I am still coughing and have some head congestion but I am feeling so much better. Today I made playdough for my grandkids. Now they are all busy creating and sculpting.....My lower back is hurting real bad again. I can't stand up for more than 5 to 10 minutes at a time. But at least I don't still have a cold! The wind is pretty gusty here today but is warm at 81 degrees. Seems unbelievable that snow is in our forecast for Monday. lolHow's everyone doing this fine weekend?hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
