Guest guest
Can you tell me again....I can't find it...why when are reversing you should not take Iodine? My silly doctor told me today to increase it to two tablets a day, and I'm scared to do this. Am I right in feeling I'm reversing since my numbers are free t3 - 291 (range 230-420) and rt3 27 (range 11 - 32)?
Guest guest
Yes you are nto converting properly and making WAY to much RT3. Iodine stimulates the thyroi dto make more hormones, and what does it make? MORE T4 which then is cnverted to more RT3. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
Thanks ! Why in the world would my doctor, who told me last week that she would give me t-3 when my breathing got better now tell me today that depending on my labs, she may add t-4 in????? That seems counter-productive, and I emailed her that I did not want to take t-4. I think she may have meant to say t-3. I have to talk to her Tuesday. Consider this scenario: I started on Naturethroid, 1/4 gr in January. Had a lot of stress in Jan and Feb. Doesn't excess cortisol cause more rt3? In March, I got the sudden onset of shortness of breath. After all tests on lungs and heart, now my new ND/MD put me on 15 mg. Hydrocortisone a few weeks ago. Doesn't really seem to help with the breathing. She took me off of the Naturethroid, which I had upped myself to 1/2 gr and it wasn't helping. Since my ratio of ft3 to rt3 is so low, isn't it possible that the low t3 is causing my symptoms? And since it takes up to 12 weeks for the rt3 to clear, and it's only been going on 3. My tsh is .452 And my thyroglobulin antibodies are high. Trying so hard here to get my life back, and I'd love to have anyone's input on this. I do NOT want to take anymore t4 in any way because I don't want to delay the rt3 clearing. (BTW, I have been supporting my adrenals with high vitamin C, Pandrenol, and other things for months now)! Thanks for any and all responses! Subject: Re: Val or Nick or someone...help! Re: IodineTo: RT3_T3 Date: Friday, May 28, 2010, 11:49 PM Yes you are nto converting properly and making WAY to much RT3.
