Looking for a District EMS Manager

Bay Star Ambulance Service is seeking to add to our great management team. Bay

Star is seeking a District EMS Manager for the Houston area. This individual

reports to the Director of Operations.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the recruitment, hiring, supervision, and training of personnel

• Oversee the investigation of accidents involving company vehicles

• Prepare reports, respond to requests for data, and maintain required records

• Spot inspections of the crews and vehicles

• Assure compliance with departmental procedures, state regulations, and other

regulations related to Bay Star, including licensing and certification

• Work collaboratively with the billing department

• Work collaboratively with dispatch

• Work collaboratively with fleet maintenance

• Lots more

Hours:

Mostly Monday through Friday, however weekends will be required. Required to be

" On Call " per admin schedule.

Abilities:

• Common sense

• Good attitude

• Able to work as a team

• Able to work as a team leader

• Good people skills

• Management experience

• More importantly, initiative

Requirements:

• EMT/P or EMT/LP.

• 12 + yrs EMT/P experience

• 10 + yrs EMS experience

• 3+ yrs Supervisor experience

• PALS, ACLS, CPR, BTLS, etc

• Instructor is a plus

• Good driving record

• Current TDL

• Medicare & Medicaid knowledge

Pay

• 50K to 63K

• Health / Dental / Vision

• 401K (101K in my opinion)

• Bonus program

• Take home vehicle
