Guest guest
My face gets really red and flushed in the heat or when I get stressed. My BP and pulse go up too. If this is adrenal, does it mean too high or too low? Does anyone know? > > Sounds like it COULD be adrenals, too. When I used to get really excited and worked up like over (the Saints games this past year), my face would get really red and take a long time to not be hot and red. I think it's adrenals. > >> I'm noticing my face gets really red very fast and I also fatigue quicker too. Guest guest
I'd like to know about this also only my face gets beet red and stays that way if I'm in heat and especially if I am working in the heat. Never could tolerate heat but never had red face before even in hotter weather. Guest guest
This used to happen to me all the time. I used to get so overheated from exercise my face would turn bright red. I haven't been able to use the gym in years due to my poor adrenals and thyroid condition. You're pretty luck you can still work out. Sounds like it COULD be adrenals, too. When I used to get really excited and worked up like over (the Saints games this past year), my face would get really red and take a long time to not be hot and red. I think it's adrenals. Guest guest
I am weaning off. I want to get a STIMM test as that was never done. I've been on 15mg Cortef for 1.5 years. My doctor I have now wants me to stay on 3 grains Erfa and wean off the Cortef. I still have high RT3 too and ferritin, D, and other things are good. He thinks I was high cortisol and that was causing the RT3 so I'm 1/2 way off the Cortef. Today I got shaky and stomach queasy after walking the dog in the heat and then very dry mouth. I also got a terribele low back spasm that I haven't had for almost a year. Maybe the zumba dance class yesterday was too much?? Oh well. Im also taking an herbal adrenal helper with ginseng, rhodiola, etc. I'm waiting for my OTC adrenal cortex complex to take with it while I continue to wean. > > > > Subject: Red face and exercise--hypo? > To: RT3_T3 > Date: Tuesday, June 1, 2010, 9:36 PM > > > Â > > > > I'm noticing my face gets really red very fast and I also fatigue quicker too. I have grave doubts that 15 of HC is causing your high RT3 and doubt it will cure itself without going T3 only. You may be able to lower the serum levels but you won't clear what's stuck in the receptors without getting serum levels very low and keeping them there for a couple of months Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com Nick
Guest guest
Ty, Nick. I am sort of in agreement with you on the RT3 taking longer to clear, this is why I have to try yet another doctor soon. Also when my current doctor said to wean and he lowered my RX, I figured it was a good time to just get off and find another doctor and do a STIMM once and for all. And, maybe, he/she will be more in agreement re: my RT3 issue. It went down low one time on just 37.5mcg of Cytomel, but then I was weaned off and put back on NT. I can't take the herbals while weaning? I figured I'd use them in place of the dose I remove and then after I'm off HC completely, I'd stop the herbals too. Is that okay? Then do I have to wait 6 weeks on nothing before a STIMM? > > > > if you are coming off it to test you need to be off the herbals etc as > well to get a true answer. > > I have grave doubts that 15 of HC is causing your high RT3 and doubt > it will cure itself without going T3 only. > > You may be able to lower the serum levels but you won't clear what's > stuck in the receptors without getting serum levels very low and > keeping them there for a couple of months > > Nick > > -- > > for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to > > www.thyroid-rt3.com > > Nick >

I don't know about the stim test but you only need 2 weeks without meds for a saliva test Again the adrenal list is the place to go for information http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ Their FAQ Web site is here http://faqhelp.webs.com/ Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
