Guest guest
Although in Broward, did you check into the Schott Communities "PASS" program. Contact Liz Disney at Robin Of course, I am again thrust into the position of trying to develop a program for Blake. He will age out of the school system in May and has no where to go. Does anyone know of a good adult day training program for the over 22 year old population that takes individuals with behavioral challenges (3:1 ratio) anywhere in the state? I'm working with ARC Palm Beach to try and develop a program up here in the North Palm Beach area to serve this population. They are interested in finding out if there are any existing programs in the state that could supply information in terms of how their program runs efficiently. They would like to serve the needs of the behaviorally challenged adult population, but feel, perhaps, that the state of Florida is not really funding this set-up. But if they see that there are other agencies that are serving these individuals in a well run and purposeful manner, they will try to get it going as well by modeling their program. Thanks so much!!!
