I'm completely pro veg juices. I don't understand the purpose of

taking veg juices only for long periods of time.

Note that Andy posted recently (and has posted the same thing many

times over the years) that the mistake in " Amalgam Illness " is that

beans are incorrectly listed as low sulfur when they are high sulfur.

Not for someone who has difficulty tolerating sulfur foods. They are

all high sulfur.

mung bean sprouts are high sulfur

I've never heard of anyone sprouting lentils, but the lentil seeds are

high sulfur.

Andy's posts on the subject.

my digestion is still giving me lots of trouble(it totally rules my

life at the moment), even after 7 months of a host of

limiting/special diets, i had to go hardcore and do a veg cleanse,

which has been good, then backfired with this sulphur foods reaction.

But it is glorious i now know what to avoid now. my list of food to

avoid is very long indeed:-(

I have been taking my PH value for the past 3 months, and been trying

hard to alkalise my body through diet. This veg cleanse has finally

succeeded in making me alkaline…..hip, hip, hooray! Happy happy dayz!

Also, now i have discovered that i can't handle sulphur foods, which

is very important. Hopefully my digestion can get even better now

when i avoid all these foods. Was interesting that it was only when i

had a LOT of sulphur foods that the reaction was so big and so

noticable.

This morning I woke up feeling terrible, but after 1 big veg juice

with no sulphur foods i immediatly started feeling better.

Only downside to the veg cleanse is that i lost even more weight,

which is bad news since i am very underweight. but i look at it as

two steps forward, one step back. i wasn't gaining any weight before

the cleanse, hopefully now i will be able to. The knowledge i have

gained re sulphur foods makes it well worth it.

I have also had problems in the past with eggs too.....so that is

another clue about my sulphur food sensititivy.

re Sprouted foods.

ok thanks for that. so beans and lentils are high sulphur, sprouted

or not.

sprouted SEEDS are ok, but pls reconfirm that.

how would i know if i had a sulphur food reaction? i eat eggs all the

time and don't know how i would know if that is affecting me

does alkanility really make a difference? my urine is acidic but my

saliva is normal. i also have so much i'm dealing with - thyroid,

diet (i do low carb high fat high protein) that dealing with one more

thing seems a little daunting.

i am also worried about my liver - have not had any tests yet. is it

harder on my liver to chelate or better to not chelate? i am concerend

that if i eat high protein high fat it is harder on my liver but i

dont' know how else to handle the blood sugar issues and digeetion.

Eliminate all sulphur foods from your diet for a week or so, then

challenge with lots of sulphur foods in one day. See how you feel.

If the results are not clear, repeat.

Eat as many fresh vegetables as you can. Incorporate veg juices in

your regular diet, either juicing yourself or drinking V8, tomato

juice, and others that are available.

In the long term it's better to chelate **properly to get the toxins

out of your system and proper use of ALA will eventually help your liver.
