Guest guest
http://www.westonaprice.org/modernfood/HFCSAgave.pdf Note that this is about illegals, but the sidebar on honey stopped me dead in my tracks. I think on page 49 - but check the attachment. I had been using a " generic " brand for my baked goods, and they kept burning, despite simple changes like turning down the heat, baking less time, switching to light colored pans and glass vs dark pans, etc. After switching to a honey from the HFS, and I even tried Digestive Wellness's honey vs the " generic " honey from a big box grocery store my baked goods turned out light golden brown and pretty perfect in taste and color. Just my own 2 cents from my own experiment, concluding that my " generic " honey had HFCS in it .. . . For those who aren't sure why something is illegal even when it seems like it should be legal, this may help. Leaves me in continual anger regarding our food sources, and regulation re: food . . .
