Guest guest
I requested a 24-hr. urine test from an endo, which showed high cortisol. The next test she did was a dexamethasone suppression test ( you take this form of cortisol, then do another 24-hr urine test. It showed that my adrenals suppressed appropriately - meaning, I suppose , that I didn't have Cushings. I went through all this before I found out about saliva testing on this forum. Hope I haven't confused you. BW, Pat Catecholamines and Free Cortisol? My Dr is doing a 24 hr urine catecholamine and free cortisol test. I've tried to do some reading on it, but can't make heads or tails. Can anyone explain what the Dr is trying to find out and what relationship it has to thyroid and/or adrenals???? (also - you may see this on the sister site. I thought I was here - oops!) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.
