Guest guest
Hi Mara. I may be starting on LDN later this summer. I am curious about your comment that LDN and high doses of prednisone cancel each other out. I don't take prednisone. I do use transdermal hydrocortisone cream, applying 30 mg to my wrists in the morning and 10 mg to my wrists early evening. Apparently, the transdermal cream is about 50% absorbed, so that my daily dose is actually about 20 mg hydrocortisone, to match what my adrenals would produce if they weren't fatigued. I am assuming that my hydrocortisone dose is low enough that I don't need to worry about interference with LDN. Do you know where I might find more information about this? For instance, where did you discover that high doses of prednisone would cancel out LDN? Thanks.
