Guest guest
" Olif, when is your appointment with the MD? " I am making an appointment with Dr. Bain (DO) as soon as I get insurance stuff straightened out. It now looks like I can get on my fiancé's insurance, because he has domestic partnership. Hopefully we will have the info from his insurance company on Monday, but we may have to get registered. I think that means a trip to Urbana, because that is the only clerk I can find in IL that registers opposite sex. Hopefully I will be in to see Bain in a couple weeks, if there is no waiting period for insurance, etc. I don't want to see him first, because I am positive for TPO antibodies. I don't want anything on record where they can call it a preexisting condition- yet I am posting all over the internet to groups like this. :-) I don't plan on seeing my ND until after I see Bain. I am hoping that I like Bain enough that I may not see my ND anymore, or not very often. I do have HC in the mail. What do you think of my results? I can post the thyroid and hormone as well...I look hypo for thyroid- TSH through the roof. Thanks, Olif
Guest guest
" Until you decide about HC, one or more of licorice, ashwagandha, ginseng, glandulars, etc, in sufficient quantities, may help. " Hi, . I tried glandulars a couple days, but I started getting a little anxiety. I am not sure if I am getting hyper symptoms back (I am TPO positive), or if it is the adrenaline in the glandular causing problems. I recently started ashwaghandha, but I have heard this can aggregative Hashi's- is that true and how would I know? I am trying licorice some days too. I have the tincture and honestly don't care for it in my a.m. tea. I am putting it in tea, because I have a strong aversion to alcohol. I am taking pantothenic acid a few times a day, lots of C, etc. Some days are okay, some days are awful. I am going to at least start 2.5 mg HC in the a.m. while I am waiting to see the DO. I might even increase. Hopefully it will be here soon. " Diagnos-techs calls this normal? " On their graph, it falls into normal. I am probably in stage 5, up from stage 6 last fall. My DHEA is still a little on the high side, but at least within normal range. It is probably my fault for taking the last test at 9, instead of 11-midnight like it says. I am also really wondering if the spices in the Indian food helped hold my cortisol for a couple hours. Indian makes me feel really good after I eat it! :-) Thanks, Olif
Guest guest
Nell: " The difference in how bad your days are is how much stress you're facing, and as you're probably noticing, things that you never used to think twice about can actually be very stressful, like driving or answering the doorbell. " So like when the phone rings and I want to throw it through the wall rather than answer it, that isn't a normal feeling people have?! Or when I don't know what we are going to eat for dinner, and I just feel like crying about it. Those feelings might go away? :-) Thanks, Olif
