Guest guest
Hi Tonya,I don't know if it would be ok or not. Elaine said the only herbal teas that are legal are peppermint and spearmint. And green tea is also allowed but limited to 2 cups per day. Elaine didn't research many herbal remedies so it's hard to say. Also, check out this http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/knowledge_base/kb/herbal_remedies.htm and this http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/knowledge_base/kb/homeopathy_and_scd_legality.htmHTH,Kim H.husband, , CD 1999, SCD 2002To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Wednesday, July 22, 2009 8:10:44 AMSubject: Tulsi Tea------ Can anyone tell me if Tulsi Tea is legal? It says it's caffeine-free. Under the "supplement facts" it says that the tulsi is holy basil. Anyone have any comments or information on this? It also says it is stress relieving:) I could probably use some of that! Tonya Diverticulosis SCD- 1-13-

Tulsi is a kind of basil, and basil is in the mint family, so my guess would be legal. I drink it for calming and immune support, but I think it's a bit energizing, so not at night.
