Guest guest
Nick i spent so much time writing my lab tests and somehow it got deleted. I am already very much supportimng my adrenals..i will post the lab tests later on. I feel very much the amt of thyroid i was on was overdriving the adrenals.. Is there a way i can speak with you? Misty Re: To Nick from Misty Lab information >I am also taking adrenal support. i feel if i could just get my thyroid stable so much would come on line for me.. >if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated. > >my cortisol is very very low by genova saliva test. i am goin gto restrest but i need to be more stable with my thyroid first. That last para says it all. You have major adrenal issues, until you stabilize those you can't get the thyroid sorted, it has to be adrenals first. Have you graphed temperatures?? the first link on this page shows you how http://thyroid-rt3.com/adrenals.htm Until temperatures are stable from day to day measured like that you stand no chance of sorting the thyroid, You will need to go T3 only, but it will only work with enough adrenal support. If you join this group http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ Their FAQ Web site is here http://faqhelp.webs.com/ and post your last saliva labs they will suggest dosing etc. Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com

No way you can speak with me but you can Val, there is a link for booking calls with her somewhere. I only need to know the T4/T3/TSH/RT3 Ferritin electrolyte and adrenal labs, can't help with the rest. The ranges go far too lot for people with thyroid issues, You need a Ferritin of the 70-90 mark to tolerate and benefit from thyroid meds >i am hoping when my thyroid come on line so will my periods, my estrogen and progesterone seem low. Looks to me like you need to get Potassium and Ferritin up and then go T3 only. Are your average temperatures stable?? For the Ferritin you will need to take 150 to 200 mg of elemental iron a day split in 2 doses and keeping them away from thyroid meds. If it works for you then it's the right thing to do. The " T4 decay " will be slower if you chop it in half first which means you will need to go up slower with the T3, smaller increments and/or less often, you will soon get the feel for when you need an increase though. After a week at half T4 you should be ready to drop the rest of it Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
