Hi Everyone!!

Well today was the day I got to meet my new doctor :)

I was sooooooooooooo nervous!! Ive waited over a month to see him.

Well he was very nice and very open to things!! Unlike my endo who

would only run tsh tests.

He took blood and ran the following:

Comp/High

CBC w/diff

CMP

DHEA-S

T3 FREE

T4 FREE

TSH

He wants me to switch from synthroid to Armour ~ Im really nervous

about this because I have been taking synthroid for 15 years.....

I am currently taking .25 mg of Synthroid daily and he wants me to

switch to 90mg of Armour 2times a day. He said that my synthroid

dose is pretty high and he might not have given me a large enough

dose of Armour but he wants to see me in 3 weeks to test it.

(IM SOOOOOOO NERVOUS ABOUT SWITCHING.....Anyone else switch after

using synthroid for so long?)

He wrote on my sheet " adrenal deficency " Im not totally sure what

that means.....I didnt see it until I left otherwise I would have

asked him.

He said that he believes I have a hormone inbalance and he wants me

to come back in 3 weeks when I am mid cycle so that he can check my

Progesterone. I have no idea what this is but he gave me some

reading materials and a tape to listen to.

All and all he was very very nice and Im so glad I didnt chicken out

and cancel my appointment!!!

Im just super nervous about switching to Armour.... I hope it goes

well!!

Please let me know what you think!!

Love you guys and I really appreciate all of your help getting

through this!!

J
