Hello. New to the group. My son (5yo ASD) has been on SCD for 6 weeks with good

results. One thing he still takes is Mon-a-vie for antioxidants. Is this SCD

legal or no? Also I was reading about probiotics not being legal...is this

true?

Welcome to the group.

If you are speaking of Mon-a-vie the fruit juice mixture, no, it is not

SCD legal, because we don't know what might have been added to each of

the ingredients before it was formulated. (The description of it as

" syrupy " liquid in one article doesn't fill me with any hope

that it doesn't contain illegal sugars and other additives.)

The legal probiotics on SCD are l. acidophilus and/or l. casei, l.

bulgaricus, and s. thermophilus in our SCD yogurt. In supplements, l.

acidophilus and s. boulardii are the only legal probiotics.
