Guest guest Posted July 12, 2009 Report Share Posted July 12, 2009 Sodium lactate (a salt) can be made in a laboratory, very simply, by dissolving lactic acid and sodium chloride and then modifying the pH to force out the salt. So, I guess I am saying that the origin of any simple salts like this is: a) difficult to trace, and probably not important. What the salt is, and its purity are what matter.
