Guest guest Posted April 19, 2012 Report Share Posted April 19, 2012 Good afternoon everyone! I would appreciate any insight you could provide on a summer camp for my son. My son is 13. He was diagnosed with aspergers when he was 9. He is very " high functioning " but, in addition to his aspergers, he exhibits emotional and behavioral problems (in large part, we believe, because of his inappropriate school placement/diagnosis when he was younger). I am looking for a therapeutic summer camp setting for him this summer -either in Miami-Dade/Broward or even out of state/residential. The camp would need to be able to address his ASD, as well as cope with the emotional and behavioral issues. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much.
