Guest guest
I'm going to see what my how my body feels finally at the second step down of my IC wean - (3 2 2 0) pills (and only 1/2 gr Armour 4/ day, or maybe only 3/8 gr.) Would it be reasonable if it can't quite handle this to go to (4 2 2 0) and then to (3 2 2 0)? Or would the 8 mg dose in the morning create too much suppression later on. I'm wondering if they body can get used to a certain level of sub- adequate support (as in a wean), and instead of using all of the morning dose as free cortisol, protein-bind some of it and keep a reserve instead. Is tehre much known about what controls how and when the body binds and unbinds cortisol from wahtever proteins - or even *where* it goes on (in the blood, adrenals, kidneys, liver). Guest guest
Bound cortisol is carried in the blood but I have not found much info written about it. Liek why oe when it would start to bind. I do not believe th body will get used to sub optimal amounts. Mine sure didnt; and the many folks here with low cortils can attest to that too! -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
