Thanks . I can see that starting slowly and sticking to the protocol

for a long time are very difficult and two huge barriers. The number of

people who really do it according to TK's modified (much more conservative)

protocol is probably small. I can certainly see the wisdom in doing it that

way though. But impatience is tough to overcome -- who doesn't want to feel

well quickly?

My success story

I was tempted to be discouraged by the talk about lack of success.

For my own sake and any other doubters I must record my success.

I could talk for hours (a symptom), but will just outline:

I came here 18 mo ago at 32yr old, health declining, nearly

deblitated by ankylosing spondylitis.

Removed 6 fillings about 18 mo ago and discontinued allergy shots

preserved with thimerosal; began strict low carb diet to control

yeast.

Started 8mg dmsa during the 3 month period of amalgam removal before

understanding the problem with this. Fatigue dramatically increased

and was completely unable to interact with people for a 3 day

stretch.

Have chelated since following Cutler protocol exactly.

Symptoms improved:

allergies gone

asthma gone

ankylosing spondylitis gone if following diet

fatigue nearly gone (also diet dependent)

anger- this was a big one for me.

skinny and weak to much more athletic

ability to concentrate- huge improvement

chronic bronchitis, frequent colds- now one minor cold in 12 mo.

not gassy- diet dependent

much less anxiety, paranoia, antisocial behaviors

no reactive hypoglycemia

normalized liver enzymes (ALT and Total Bili high past 10 yr.)

One could say that these improvements are from the Candida diet

alone, but after a year, I am unable to take more than 37 mg ALA with

25 mg dmsa. Taking 50 mg Ala with 25 dmsa causes too much increase

in mental symptoms. Taking 25 mg Ala alone had the same effect.

I take many typical supplements and am often adding or deleting one.

Things don't seem to effect me quickly like others. The only clear

correlation I had was starting dmsa too early and trying too much

ALA. Any kind of sugar or carbohydrate beyond that in tomatos causes

swift symptoms. This hasn't improved, but I wonder if the constant

bombardment of my gut with mercury/chelators keeps the yeast going.

Thaks to everybody who invests time to help. NOBODY should EVER

leave here without posting success stories for the record.

Hi ,

Thanks for posting.

I never heard of ankylosing spondylitis until you wrote it.

I looked it up and it seems its exactly my problem as well.

The last year ive had lots of sticking/locking joints in my lower back

and neck. I have been keeping them loose by making quick streching

motions.

Ive been chelating for 5 rounds now and its already much better ! The

first 4 rounds gave alot of extra inflamation in my back and hips.

i'm glad its already much less now. Now i know what arthritis feels

like! I'm also on a healthy diet but not specificaly for Candida.

Could you please tell me more about your experiences with ankylosing

spondylitis and how chelating effected this?

I havent done ALA yet, is it any different than DMSA?

Thanks,

COllin
