Guest guest
Val...hope you can give some insight. It seems strange to me that such young kids would have an RT3 issue. I thought that it would be a pretty rare thing in young children. I'm wondering if I should just monitor this for a while before trying to get them on any meds. I can't seem to find much info out there related specifically to children. Are there any pediatric thyroid groups out there? Do you know anyone else in this situation. I just don't know what to do. I'm nervous about putting them on T3 meds because I'm not sure they would be able to tell me if they aren't feeling right. And I wouldn't know what a normal amount is for a kid. Obviously I'd need to find a doctor to help, but know that the pediatric endo in my area doesn't know anything about this based on the response I got from her after doing the tests. I do have an integrative doc that I'm seeing, so may have to try that route and hope he knows how to treat children. Also...they seem perfectly healthy with no lack of energy...do you think it would still be worth getting their adrenals checked? See their blood work below. Thanks, Steph > > I had my two daughters tested for thyroid a couple of weeks ago and here are their test results. I asked for FT3, but the doctor did the Total T3 instead. Guest guest
Val...thank you for this response. I know I can't blame myself...it is very infuriating to know that I have probably been sick for over 20 years and despite going to the doctor frequently for physicals and complaining about the tinnitus, fatigue, etc; and despite the abnormal liver enzyme tests for 20 years; and despite the fact that the doctors actually suspected the thyroid enough to run thyroid tests (TSH ofcourse)...I still went undiagnosed. It just makes me want to scream!!! I hope I can get this worked out for my girls. I appreciate everything you do. --Steph > > you can't blame your self. The problem is FLUORIDE fist. > Chlorine.
