Guest guest
Nick, my temps are really stable on 30 mg. HC and after recently going up to 4 gr. NT my temps were going up to 98.6 for a week but now the average is dropping ..01 at a time and heading toward lower 98's. Even on 4 gr. the fatigue will not go away even with temps in the 98's. My last RT3 lab ratio was 14.6 and this just seems to be an old pattern of upping NT gr. feeling ok for about a week then hypo symptoms creep back in. Do you think it's time to bite the bullet and go on cynomel? I have a good supply of T3 but had hoped NT with 30 HC would be enough to keep the temps up. I've been under a great deal of stress but the old adrenals have held tough on 30 HC and remained stable, just the temps and fatigue are an issue again. I'm thinking the rt3 is flairing up after looking good for a week with higher temps. Kem in Eugene <º)))><
Guest guest
Hopefully Nick will answer when he's around again, but meanwhile: if my ratio was 14.6, I would go on T3-only. Especially if temps keep dropping after NT increases...sure sounds like the T4 in the NT is converting to RT3, unfortunately. You probably already know all about about ferritin - but I didn't see your ferritin level - a level of 70-90 is what's needed for good thyroid function. I'm guessing you have this info already, too, but here it is again anyway just in case: Nick's " how to " web page: http://thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm Lots more essential RT3 info: http://thyroid-rt3.com/ > > Nick, my temps are really stable on 30 mg.
