Guest guest
I saw you mentioned these in a post this past week or so. I looked them up and it looks like they are just made of cheese. My Dad says they are at King's supermarket near him in NJ and we are visiting him next week. Would you consider these legal? It looks like they are all made of just cheese. They're made of Parmesan cheese with herbs and spices -- some named. I have tried the plain (good, and I believe it to be legal, although I have not yet obtained a letter from them), the garlic (good, and I believe it to be legal, although I have not yet obtained a letter from them), the Italian Herb & Spice (good, but I reacted to it, so they may be using something with some starch or something. Don't know, and they claim they are carb and gluten free). I generally make my own with cheddar cheese, and, having tried these, I may try with some fresh-grated Parmesan. There's no place here that I can buy them, and the shipping pretty well doubled the cost of the crackers which ran around $6 for 18 crackers. Interesting to try, but too bleeping expensive for MY pocket book. Along the same lines--if I do not have a dehydrator--could one make the the veggie crackers and mashed bean crackers in the oven? How? I have never 'cooked' crackers before. You can bake them in the oven, and then probably dehydrate them on low in the oven. You're right about every day being a blessing -- I hope your next labs are excellent also! — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
