For an aldosterone test to be done properly,...the blood must

be drawn with the patient standing or lying down. If I'm not mistaken

lying down must be for awhile. Standing seems to be a better option.

Ask your tech who's drawing the blood to look up the proper procedure

so that are familiar with it. (if they have any questions)

Otherwise the numbers are useless.
