ng/dl (nanograms per deciliter). The only thing I can tell you is Vliet says good P. levels are 10 - 25 ng/dl during the mid-luteal phase. So, if five days after ovulation you are at 14 that actually doesn't sound bad. But, of course, I'm not a doctor...*grin* I don't even necessarily think the P. on day 3 is bad. Simply because after you ovulate the P. begins to rise in the cycle. So it was obviously still climbing at that point...does that make any sense? I agree with Dusty...you should tell her that you want a CLEAR picture of your hormones...and you cannot do that with just one, but that's just my opinion. Have you read Vliet's book? I know I say that a lot but in all honesty we have to understand all this for ourselves...if not, the docs will bulldoze over us every time! Hugs, Chelle

<<You don't post the reference ranges for us, wo we can't really tell anything about this. >> Sorry, I thought you guys knew what the ranges were supposed to be--that's why I was asking. I don't have a lab report right now, so I can only tell you what my doc said. She said at Day 3, they like to see at least a 10 (mine was 7). Day 5 should be 15-18 (mine was 14). And she didn't say what Day 10 should be, only that it does tend to drop around that time because of preparing for menstruation (mine was 10). She thought these were low based on these reference ranges. I wanted to know what reference ranges you all thought were best--if this sounded right to you. I don't have Vliet's book. Thanks for any input you have! Becky
