Guest guest
The UNOS exception has been granted and I am listed with a MELD of 40. Just a few minutes ago the transplant coordinator called to ask me to stand by for further calls as they are evaluating another donor for me. I hope that this next transplant goes as smoothly as the one I was just through - only without the serious complication of a blocked artery. Guest guest
Tim, We are praying that all goes well and you get your new liver soon. Thank goodness UNOS granted the exception points. I am so sorry to hear that you have to go through this again after experiencing such a smooth ride...but what would tranplant be like if it didn't have the rollercoaster to go along with it (I wish it didn't have to be that way, but it seems like no matter what...there are always complications along the way).
