Hi KC,

I recommended http://www.hocks.com/ for strips to the meter someone has. Hocks

Pharmacy often runs specials.

For my diabetes, I use the One Touch Ultra Smar metert - I like Lifescan meters

best.

Doctors, especially endos, will have meters to give you. The companies like your

test strip business. :)

Recommened Glucose Monitor

Hi All, I know this was discussed and am trying to find all the references.

There was even a link posted for strips to one monitor.

Anyone care to repost under this subject heading. I'm willing to compile what

I can find into a file form and one of the mods can load it up. Seems like so

many of us either can't find a good doc or have no $$$ This would give us

another tool to use.

Just check your local drugstore, Walgreens, CVS, etc. they run specials on

meters all the

time, especially when a new model is about to come out, where they have rebates

on the

meters that will essentially zero out the cost of the meter itself. It's the

strips you want to

focus on, especially if what you're interested in is cost.
