Guest guest
Suz, Thank you for the link to Dr. Indman. Great site and great pictures. Very informative. Im going to try to get an evaluation with him. I have an abdominal myo scheduled for Jan 7th...but I wanted to see if I would be a candidate for a less invasive procedure like the one he does through the cervix with a telescope/video. It sounds like he is very " cutting edge " The doc Im scheduled with seems very good but doesn't do that procedure. Does anyone know if size if the determining factor if that is possible? My fibroid is the size of a large orange so maybe it's too big but it sounds like he cauterizes the fibroids bit by bit. Also, from talking to the doctor and reading all the posts it sounds like sometimes there are more fibroids in the uterus than show on the ultrasounds so then I think myo is the best to be sure to get all of them out. It is so strange! One day I am all excited just to get the surgery and get this monster out of me and then the next I start getting all scared about the surgery and want to treat it naturally oh but then Im tired from the anemia and the pressure on the bladder.......! I know we are all going through this and I just want to get it over with though...it's so consuming! I wonder what did I worry about before this!!! Guest guest
Welcome to the group and CONGRATULATIONS on your loss so far! If you need a visualization to help your motivation.... go to www.lendsend.com and click on the My Model button. You can design your model...weight, height, body type, hair, eyes, etc. This way you can see the comparison from beginning to goal. Maureen New Here Hi everyone, I started WW almost 3 weeks ago, I did weigh 262 now I weigh 249. I am hoping to get the support I need to get down to my goal of 140. I have been overwieght since I was 11 years old, so I don't even know what I look like thin. My husband has already noticed a difference and he says he can't wait until I get thin, he is a wonderful engouragement for me. My 9 month old daughter is my inspiration, I don't want her to ever know me as her " fat " mommy and I want to be able to play as har as she does. My mother was seriously obese my entire childhood so I know what that feels like and I don't want my daughter to feel that way or end up overweight herself. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Guest guest
Very powerful introduction, . My advice? NEVER give up. Even when you think it isn't worth it, reread the post you sent to this list serve and the passion you feel now will be renewed in the future when the hard times come. I know what it is like to have an obese mother. Funny thing is, my sister is anorexic. I don't have that problem for sure! Right now, I'm stuck at 34 pounds down. And some days are pretty tough. I only have 16 more to go to my goal, if I don't screw it up. Good luck and smile when you look in the mirror. Teres PS: I hope you are taking snapshots of yourself so you can see your progress, because sometimes we forget how far we've come until we see where we've been. Guest guest
Angie, You have done an awesome job since April! And, honestly, admitting that highest weight is a tough thing to do, but can make a world of difference. Maybe admitting it to the world makes us really see that number. I know it really helped me when I started WW and, obviously, it's helped you since you're already on your weight loss journey. 166/144.6/130 (ATH-175) new here hi.my name is angie.i am 28.i am very overweight.i just started the ww program on monday and so far,so good...--My actual highest weight was in april.I was 303.that really is a hard number to admit.I am at 292 right now.My goal (healthy BMI) is 150.I hope with your help to win at this weight loss journey. thanks! angie 303/292/

Guest guest
Hi Angie, When I started my WW journey 2 1/2 years ago, I was at 302.8. I was SHOCKED to see that number over 300. I am 6 foot tall so my weight was a little more distributed but none the less, I weighed more than 300 pounds. I was so mortified, my first week on program I lost 10 pounds, so there..I was under 300. That was all the motivation I needed. I am still on my journey and will get to my goal weight. -- ~~~~ http://home.comcast.net/~sihughes/ --------- new here hi.my name is angie.i am 28.i am very overweight.i just started the ww program on monday and so far,so good...--My actual highest weight was in april.I was 303.that really is a hard number to admit.I am at 292 right now.My goal (healthy BMI) is 150.I hope with your help to win at this weight loss journey. thanks! angie 303/292/

Guest guest
Welcome Angie. We are all in the same boat. Trying to get to that healthy BMI, trying to reach our various goals. And some have met the goal, and hang out for those of us who haven't gotten there yet. I know that your weight is a hard number to admit (its hard for all of us), but we all care about each other here. And there is a lot of real experience for you to pull from. You will reach your goal because you have made up your mind to do it. The road is hard, but you aren't alone. We are here to help when you need it. I am sure you will have experience to share as well as you go along this journey. That is the beauty of this group. I wish you not luck, but positive experiences that will help you as you go along. OK, perhaps some luck on those days that you need it! And welcome to ALL you new folks. There have been so many, I've lost track! new here hi.my name is angie.i am 28.i am very overweight.i just started the ww program on monday and so far,so good...--My actual highest weight was in april.I was 303.that really is a hard number to admit.I am at 292 right now.My goal (healthy BMI) is 150.I hope with your help to win at this weight loss journey. thanks! angie 303/292/
