What tests would I need? > I would ask for an annual physical exam because this is one of the ways that a doctor has to pick up on possible problems (in general). Ask him his opinions about your BP. He may be able to set up 24 h monitoring of BP. Tests are mentioned starting on p 173 of " Amalgam Illness " . You could read through that section and see if any of the tests are applicable to your circumstances. Most are not necessary unless the person is already having a specific problem. > Does anyone have Andy's contact info, email adress? > Andy's mailing address is on the last page of his book and on his web page (www.noamalgam.com). You can send him a message by clicking on 'send message' under his name on any of his emails or in the members section. J
Guest guest
Good luck, I hope he's open minded enough the help you. Some docs are, some are not. As for tests, it never hurts to get a basic CBC, liver panel, cholesterol. Making sure things are in order. Some of those things are indicative for mercury problems. Like high cholesterol is indicative of hypothyroidism. You want to make sure you liver is good. Taking Milk thistle will help that. Adrenal support would help the anxiety part. You could ask if he is willing to prescribe saliva cortisol testing since you may have a problem with your adrenals, thyroid function testing, hair elements analysis, things like that if you need them. If not, you can get some of it done without him. I am not sure how to contact Andy, but I know he has a nurse practitioner that he works with. Maybe check his website for information. Chelation has been helpful for high blood pressure in some studies I have read... > > I'm going to see my doc this week. The anxiety
